2019 Golf Tournament

‘Twas’ the 14th of September, 108 Golfers were anxiously waiting for the start of the 14th Annual WLA Golf Tournament. Once again sponsored by Century 21 and Jules Lusignan. The go ahead was given and the golfers took to the course…and then the rain came down, pouring rain. The rain lasted a couple of hours but it did not take away from the great day of golf. In the late afternoon 43 Dinner Guests joined the festivities for the Evening.

During Appetizers golfers and guests participated in the Chance Raffle. During dinner golfers received their awards. First place teams received the famous Native American Bust Trophies. Second place teams received a Raceway Pro Shop Gift Card. Hole prizes were given for the Putting Contest, Get on the Green Raffle and this year we had a Hole in One Car winner, thank you Place Motors for the sponsorship. Skins were distributed to the winning teams. After all the awards came the Major Raffle with 12 prizes to pick from starting with a Paddle Board, Bruins Tickets, Boat Winterizing, Rocking Chairs, Alexa Show and many more.

The tournament is the biggest fundraiser of the year and thanks to our Sponsors, golfers, dinner guests and donors we were able to achieve over $22,000 for the maintenance of the lake.

We also thank our many volunteers who work through-out the year and on the day of the tournament helping to achieve a successful tournament.
