ICE-OUT Einstein FAQ
What is the ICE-OUT contest?
ICE-OUT Einstein is a mannequin dressed to look like Einstein. He will be sitting on the ice on a chair that is attached to a forty pound weight.
In the ICE-OUT contest, people make their best guess as to when the ice will melt enough for Einstein, the weight, and the chair to drop through the ice in order to trigger a timing mechanism.
Where will ICE-OUT Einstein be located?
ICE-OUT Einstein will make himself comfortable in the middle of Lakeview Marine Cove. Susan York of Lakeview Marine will provide a Web Cam for live viewing. See the "ICE-OUT EINSTEIN LIVE WEBCAM"
Is it easy to play?
Yes, it is.
For each entry, you predict the Month, Day, Hour and Minute that you think the ice will melt enough for Einstein to trigger the timing mechanism.
Then submit your predictions, your payment, and contact information (See next section).
Midnight, February 19, 2024 is the Deadline for entry submission.

How will the winner be determined?
The winning time is when the ice in Lakeview Marine Cove melts enough so that the weighted mannequin trips the timer.
The winners will be those whose guesses are the closest to the exact Month, Date, Hour, and Minute of the winning time (either before or after).
In the unlikely event of a tie, the prizes will be split. For example, if there is a tie between 1st and 2nd places, each winner will receive $1500 (($2000 + $1000) / 2).
If for some reason Mother Nature does not cooperate, or in case of an unforeseen malfunction, winners will be determined by a Drawing sometime after the close of ticket sales.
Who can play?
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the contest.
