Important Update: Due to a D.E.P. Policy change, hydro-raking will not be performed on Webster Lake in 2025.
The Webster Lake Association has begun working with the D.E.P. to have hydro-raking as an option for weed control in 2026.
The State of Massachusetts has given the Webster Lake Association a grant to remove non-native and nuisance vegetation from Pout Pond. The vegetation removal would be done with mechanical hydro-raking only. Herbicide treatment would be used in future maintenance.

Solitude Lake Management Company and the Webster Lake Association met with the D.E.P. in February. Goddard Consulting completed the Permit. Core Samples were taken and are being processed in the Lab.
